Seasonal population dynamics of Diptera families in deciduous forests of Central European Russia

Seasonal rhythms have been found in practically all groups of insects, but Diptera they studied to a lesser extent. In deciduous forests the European part Russia (Republic Mordovia, Temnikov district) seasonal dynamics abundance was 9 families (Tipulidae, Lonchaeidae, Aulacigastridae, Milichiidae, Heleomyzidae, Anthomyiidae, Muscidae, Fanniidae, Calliphoridae). Two peaks were characteristic Tipulidae, Fanniidae. Anthomyiidae had one peak early June. Milichiidae July. Muscidae mid-August. Lonchaeidae and Aulacigastridae three-peak pattern with highest Calliphoridae experienced gradual increase abun-dance from June September.
